Rain, Rain, Rain

Carol and I went to Endinberg, Va to a Leasureway Rally. It rained the entire trip, but we had fun anyway. We met up with Tricia and her husband Sean who Garry works with and we had a wonderful time sitting out in the rain around a campfire telling stores and discussing the RV camping life. Ducks and other animals were around all the time as our camosite was on a creek just a few yards behind us. It was a beautiful campreuond. Garry did not take his camera, so no photos.

Hershey,PA

Carol and I are at Hershey High Meadow RV Park in Hershey, PA with 35 other Pleasure Ways owners. We will be here until Sunday, the 20^th of September. Tricia and Sean are coming in their new Motor home and Julie and her husband will be stopping by on Saturday eve. Rain on the way up and we went to the RV show at the Hershey center and met the Pleasureway factory reps and they were able to answer many questions for us.

Cape Henlopen State Park

We spent two days at this wonderful state park. Garry went fishing (caught nothing), met some wonderful campers, showed off the motor home and rested, rode our bikes all over the park, explored Lewes Deleware where we walked the streets and enjoyed looking at all the history and small shops. We toured a historical Coast Guard Life Saving Station and Lightship and Garry talked to some hams who were doing a field day contest. All in all, it was a great place.

Coast Guard Training Center, Cape May

Carol and I spent three days at the Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, NJ. here we enjoyed biking around the town of Cape May, shopping and admiring the beautiful homes that the town is noted for. As you can see we had a prime camping spot on the water and what a view!!. We were well protected by the security of the facility. We also attended Recruit Graduation of Friday and Carol and I were very impressed with the quality and the professionalism displayed by the new Coast Guardsman.

Carol climbed the Cape May lighthouse and we explored the nature preserve around the lighthouse.
